Happy Pride Month! This June, and throughout the year, Disney Parks are recognizing and celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community in many ways. From charitable donations from our recently launched Pride Collection to special food and photo opportunities, this month we invite Guests to join us in celebrating Pride Month at the Disneyland Resort.
Here are some of the ways Guests can Share Your Pride and join in on all the fun, too!
Disney PhotoPass Service is offering celebratory and colorful Magic Shots at both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park through June 30. Guests can simply ask their PhotoPass photographer where they can capture these fun shots!
Many of the limited-time special food and beverage offerings created for Pride Month at Disneyland Resort are available starting today! Whether Guests fancy a pride cookie or a Ghirardelli celebration sundae, there’s definitely something delicious for everyone to enjoy. Check out the Foodie Guide to Celebrate Pride Month at Disney Parks to learn even more about the delicious eats and treats, plus where Guests can find them this month in the parks, throughout Downtown Disney District and at the hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
Over at Disneyland Hotel, be sure to stop and take in this beautiful rainbow heart-shaped topiary on display. This progressive pride flag floral was created by the Disneyland Resort Enhancement team.
Throughout the Downtown Disney District, guests will find a number of locations featuring special Pride offerings as well, from Lovepop cards to Sprinkles cupcakes (June 13 – 26), a LEGO set and more.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled in Downtown Disney in the coming weeks – soon Guests will find beautiful decorative displays popping up throughout the district that highlight our Disneyland Resort Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs), including our Disneyland PRIDE BERG, consisting of cast members who advocate on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, Guests can find the new Disney Pride Collection throughout Disneyland Resort this month and beyond, with apparel, accessories, pins and more from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars. June is a great time to purchase these items, too, as The Walt Disney Company will be donating all of our profits from the Disney Pride Collection sales now through June 30, 2022, to support LGBTQIA+ youth and families.
