Universal to Temporarily Close Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal’s Aventura Hotel on August 21

According to Universal Orlando’s Resort FAQ’s, on August 21, both Loews Sapphire Falls Resort and Universal’s Aventura Hotel will temporarily cease operations at Universal Orlando Resort.

Guests impacted by the suspension of operations at these resorts are being given the option to either change thier resort, or modify their dates for a future stay.

Guests booked at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort within the closure period have received the following email notification about their options, which includes a free upgrade to a Premier Hotel of their choice:

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort has temporarily suspended operations, and we’d like to assist you in modifying your upcoming reservation to enjoy a complimentary upgrade to a Premier Hotel during your stay, Hard Rock Hotel or Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and the additional theme park benefits that come with staying at a Premier Hotel for this inconvenience. If you prefer, you may also modify your travel dates for a future stay at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.

Guests booked at Universal’s Aventura Hotel within the closure period have received the following email notification telling them of their options, which includes a transfer to Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and a $50 dining credit

Universal’s Aventura Hotel has temporarily suspended operations, and we’d like to assist you in modifying your upcoming reservation to enjoy Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. If you prefer, you may also modify your travel dates. We wish to extend a $50 Hotel Dining Credit to use at select hotel dining outlets during your stay of 2+ nights, because of any inconvenience this may have caused.

No reopening date has been announced for these resorts.
